Effective for students applying for Fall 2023 through the Spring 2024 semester, submitting scores from the ACT or SAT is optional for admission. Test optional allows for prospective students to submit their scores to SNU for consideration, but test scores are not required to be admitted to the university. If a student chooses to apply test-optional, high school GPA will be the primary criterion for determining academic preparedness for SNU. Some available financial awards require an ACT or SAT score for consideration.
A standardized test (ie: ACT or Accuplacer) made be required for some admitted. This does not, however, impact the student’s admission to the University.
