Please note:  All scholarships are available only to traditional students in traditional programs unless otherwise specified.

• Female student completing an RN/BSN Degree
• Preference for “Single Mothers”

• Established by Ray & Dian Thompson Chandler
• Support aid for any full-time married students with a 1st preference for students enrolled in the RN/BSN Program
• If no candidate is available, may be awarded to any married student in Adult Studies

• Established by the Bethany Health Center Auxiliary
• Provides awards for students entering medical-related fields with a preference for the School of Nursing
• Recipients must be upper-division students in the SNU Nursing program, from the State of Oklahoma, with a GPA consistent with the nursing program’s academic guidelines

• Established by David O. & Lona J. Krohe, parents; and funded by the friends of Pam Krohe
• Provides funds for a senior nursing student preparing for “nursing on the mission field”
• The recipient shall exemplify the motto of SNU: “Character-Culture-Christ”
• $1,000 increments

• Established by the McBride Foundation of Oklahoma City
• Restricted to citizens or permanent residents of the United States of America
• Must be a legal resident of Oklahoma
• Must be officially admitted to the SNU School of Nursing
• Be enrolled in at least 6 hours per semester at SNU
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a verifiable financial need

• Restricted in “In-coming Freshman-level students” enrolled in the School of Nursing

• Provides need-based scholarships to students in the School of Nursing

• Provides aid for Junior or Senior level students with a minimum 2.5 GPA

• Established by Rev. Dwain Young, husband, with continued support from Rev. Dwain and Marlene Young, and Dr. Marvin Young, son
• Restricted to upper-division students accepted into the Nursing Program track
• Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
